Forever Legends: A Tribute to the Late Great Legends

Anderson Carvalho Dance & Choreography (ACDC – a Brazilian-Dutch company) presents Dance Intersect 2024 – where they will premiere new work, Silent Symphony of Feelings, with dancers from South Africa and abroad. Ballet Barcelona (Spain) and SboNdaba Dance (SA) are the guest companies. Guest choreographer Lee van der Merwe (SA) will present a new work, commissioned by ACDC. Unbelievable – Family Magic Show

Rumours Of Fleetwood Mac Tribute

Look forward to two nights of excellent music and delicious food at Simon’s Groot Constantia. Featuring a full band made up of some of Cape Town’s top musicians, Rumours of Fleetwood Mac takes the audience into an audio landscape filled with ‘classic time-capsules of memories’ with tracks like Go your own way’, ‘Don’t Stop’, ‘Dreams’, ‘Everywhere’ and ‘Second hand news’.
Rumours of Fleetwood Mac is a tribute show centred around one of Fleetwood Mac’s most successful albums Rumours (1977) that spent 31 weeks at number 1 on the Billboard charts. Your show ticket reserves you a table (only) for dinner. Dinner will be available from an la carte menu. There will also be a full bar service available. Please note there is no service during the show.

Jive Cape Town Funny Festival

The Jive Cape Town Funny Festival has been the Mother City’s antidote to the winter cold for over two decades and brings together some of South Africa’s favourite comics and the world’s top variety acts at the Baxter Theatre. Every year, performers are handpicked for the unique contribution they make to the year’s overall line-up. In addition, the winner of the Jive Funny Championship, the Mother City’s biggest comedy talent search, will appear on stage during the course of the Festival. The Little Mermaid

Cape Town’s Most Wanted

The Best of Cape Town’s Street Dance in one night. This will be the 13th production of Cape Town’s Most Wanted. It has grown extensively in popularity each year, constantly bringing new audiences to Artscape’s Theatre every year with sold out performances. Produced by The Dance Project and Triple C, it provides a platform for audiences to get to see the best of Cape Town’s Hip Hop dancers, choreographers and dance crews – from right across Cape Town and beyond, in one performance. This a “co-creation” where the city works together to bring out its best. It is a unique opportunity to experience live and raw, on one stage, in one performance.

Earthbox X Play by Nature

Play By Nature returns to EARTHBOX to host another nature inspired workshop. Bring your children into an immersive encounter with nature and watch as they connect to the elements and their own creativity. Lots of fun natural activities for them to do inside and outside of the Earth box chamber. The kids will be able to take home their creations from the experience.

For age group: 2 – 8 years. Wear clothes you’re happy to get dirty in and arrive 15 – 30 minutes early – in time for the EARTHBOX tractor ride that will bring you to the venue.

Robben Island Museum  

Date: 17 June-8 July 2024

Tickets: Free for children under 18 and R400 for South African adults

To commemorate Youth Month, Robben-Island Museum (RIM) is offering children (under 18 years) free entry when accompanied by a paying adult during the winter school break. The special will run from 17 June 2024 to 8 July 2024 for the 1pm timeslot. 

For one paying South African adult, one South African child gets one free ticket to experience all Robben Island has to offer. The free children’s tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to a capped limit.
